The Difference Between HGH and Sermorelin

Sermorelin and Ipamorelin

If you are searching for a provider of growth hormone therapy, most likely you have come across the term Sermorelin. You probably are wondering exactly what is is, and what does it have to do with growth hormone therapy?

My patients often wonder the same thing, and fortunately we have the answers!

HGH or human growth hormone, is either the actual growth hormone produced by your body’s pituitary gland, or the growth hormone that is created in the lab using recombinant DNA that is used for prescription growth hormone therapy.

Sermorelin therapy is a very specific chemical compound that is known as a secretagogue, because it stimulates the “secretion” of specific hormones.

Isermorelin and ipamorelinn this case Sermorelin is used to stimulate your pituitary gland to increase the secretion of growth hormone. To put it simply, Sermorelin is NOT growth hormone, but it can help your body to produce more growth hormone.

In growth hormone therapy, depending on the degree of your growth hormone deficiency, secretagogues alone may be enough. In many cases we use all of these in combination with growth hormone injections.

We may use growth hormone injections to bring your levels back to normal, and then use Sermorelin to help keep them there.

Here is another thing you need to understand about growth hormone. The only way to take real growth hormone is by injection. If any store, magazine ad, or website is trying to sell you any kind of “HGH” or “growth hormones” without a doctor’s prescription, or it is in anything besides an injectable form, it is not real Human Growth Hormone.

You must understand this perfectly clear — there is only one way to legally get real Growth Hormone therapy, and that with a doctor’s prescription

Who Can Benefit from HGH or Sermorelin Therapy?

Men or women can benefit from growth hormone therapy. If you are over 35, and are putting on weight, losing muscle mass, feeling generally fatigued, depressed, and/or having some “trouble in the bedroom,” you may be suffering from growth hormone deficiency.

However, if you complain about these things to your family doctor, or general practitioner, do not be surprised if he or she tells you – “you are just getting older, deal with it.”

That is because general practitioners are not as familiar with the many benefits of growth hormone therapy as are our doctors and age-management professionals. We will not only listen to your complaints, we understand them.

We can give you the proper tests to determine if low growth hormone, or other hormone imbalances are at the root of your troubles, and prescribe a course of hormone therapies that can get you back on the road to vitality!

Is Growth Hormone Therapy Safe?

Actual growth hormone injections are only prescribed under a doctor’s supervision.  Like any medical treatment, there are risks and side effects associated with growth hormone therapy.

However, the stories you may have heard about the “dangers” of growth hormone therapy, are overblown, and usually related to the illegal use, or abuse of growth hormone by weightlifters and bodybuilders.

If you are obtaining your growth hormone therapy through qualified and experienced doctors like ours, growth hormone is generally safe and low risk.

Remember, the goal of growth hormone therapy is to bring your levels of HGH back into what is normal for you. There is very little risk in that, we are merely replacing what time and nature has taken away.

When you were younger and in your prime, your level of growth hormone was very high. But soon after you are “fully grown” your HGH levels start to dip significantly. This drop affects your body and your general health in many ways.

Properly administered growth therapy is designed to be a safe and effective way to address the shortage.

If you are growth hormone deficient, and do not see your doctor, you will just continue to decline. You will feel weak, you will find it hard to lose weight or build muscle, and you may even face sexual wellness issues. Hormone imbalance such as HGH deficiencies can negatively impact your social and professional life.

On the other hand, obtaining a prescription for growth hormone therapy can have amazing positive results because it has a powerful influence in the body. After a few weeks of growth hormone therapy – which may, or may not include Sermorelin you will feel younger, stronger, and more youthful!

Of course, as with any medical procedure, your individual results may vary depending on your age, gender, and general medical condition. However, you should expect a generally safe, and positive experience from growth hormone therapy.
